If money was no object and you could take a vacation anywhere, where would you go?

We would go to New Zealand to this incredible country lodge:

We are taking a cruise to Honduras in November..........we are addicted to cruising. When John retires, we will do transatlantic cruises.

i am a bit of a hermit and cant imagine being on a cruise ship with so many people. we've decided the only cruise we'll ever do is this one:

we'll do this one next year.

We did the Alaska cruise and it was our favorite. The reason we love cruising because we get to explore new islands and countries. We love the onboard food, entertainment and casinos. John has been to over 50 countries and I have been to just a few. I am so sick of staying in hotels with four walls, I don't go anymore. We want to cruise Africa and other countries too. You get off everyday to go on tours, etc. It is just so relaxing. Sitting out on the balcony in the morning with your coffee is just great.

We have too many cats right now, several are 10 years old or older. So, I cannot leave them for more than a week. Later on, we will have less cats and can take longer cruises.

Has to be Bora Bora...although that seems a tacky choice these days.

That looks beautiful. You will have a wonderful time if you go. That is what our island looks like to when you go to the beach.

OMG, you took my place!!!!! This resort is right up my alley. Simple and laid back, but its about 22,000 for 7 days.

BTW why is that a tacky choice?

This is gonna sound corny, but I'd love to have a family vacation again, with both our daughters, all of us together again for 7 days.

Anywhere!

Little did I know that our long ago family vacations would be the best we ever took! Several to Canada come to mind. I was bone weary but it was the best of times too. When they were so little, their hands were in mine everywhere I went.

Back to non-corny!

Sorry....couldn't resist.

Mary

I don't know if we will be able to take all the cruises we want to, but it our dream. When we cruise, we take all options. Upgrades on rooms on the ships, cheapest fares, free air with John's miles. With having a port in SanJuan, that helps, no air fare. I search and get all the cheapest rates and credits. You can save hundreds of dollars doing research. I would never paid full rate for a cruise, could not afford to do it.

Johns big dream is a boat cruise, etc. to the Antartica or as far as you can get to the North Pole.

These are all dreams, but we need to dream.

We take two cruises a year, 7 days each. That is our two week vacation for the year. That is the only vacation we take during the year. Cruising for us is still cheaper than taking a week vacation and staying at a resort or hotel. John travels a lot during the year, I stay at home and take care of cats.....

I would love to take my two youngest grandchildren and tour the US in an RV before they get to old. Someone else would do the driving of course. I'd take them to all those marvelous places that don't have roller coasters and ferris wheels like---Niagra Falls, Yosemeti (sp), Painted Desert, Mammoth Caves, Grand Canyon, Ruby Falls, California coast, and as lot of things in between. Spend the whole summer.

MomH, that would be a wonderful trip. They would remember that the rest of their lives and what a wonderful way of spending quality time with them.

MomH, I'll do the driving if I can take my 3 grandchildren!!!!!
