If you bragged to someone about something that was absolutely true about yourself, what would that one thing be?

Me... I have lots and lots of darling cats.

WELL....*ahem, clears throat*

I've gotten 3 HITS on DNA samples I've taken from recent crime scenes AND..the KICKER??? There are 14 strands of LOCI on a DNA chain, it is ALMOST, VERTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE to get ALL 14 LOCI....*AHEM* the last "3" in a ROW had 13 of the 14 LOCI...PLUS, I lifted 6 latent fingerprints from a scene and I POSSITIVELY identified the PERPATRATOR via the FBI's AFIS (automated fingerprint indentification system)!! SO YEAH....I'm braggin' BIG TIME!!

Thank you, Thank you *takes a bow* (arrogant ain't I?) LOL!

"The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ." Romans 8: 16-17 KJV

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God; your playing small doesn't serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others." ~Nelson Mandela

That I have sucessfully raised my daughter on my own. She is 18, graduating from high school in a week, heading to college on a full ride scholarship, is kind, caring, helpful, ( largely "trouble free..lol), strong, independent minded and in my unbiased opinion - absolutely beautiful :-) . I brag on her all the time!

I'm torn. Is it bragging to make an "absolutely true" statement about oneself? A statement is either factual or not. If the statement is true, does that mean it's bragging? Anyone can make at least one true statement about himself; does that therefore, mean that it is a "brag?" It is true I am a natural blonde; it is true that I am naturally slim; it is true that I am athletic; it is true that I have musical talent; and it is true that some people hate me for these natural, genetic gifts. If I state these things as truths, does that make me a braggart?
