Reward offered in dog cruelty case

Operation Kindness is offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction in an animal cruelty case.

Diane and David Leslie of Garland rescued a spaniel-terrier mix in East Dallas on March 23. A vet said the dog's wounds indicate that someone had wrapped wire around her muzzle for about six weeks.

If they don't want the dog, why don't they just simply give it up for adoption? Also, if they're trying to shut the dog up, they sure did a crappy job at it.

Here in the Tampa Bay area we had someone do that to a dog also. Her abuser was caught and arrested , charged with felony animal abuse.

I'd love to wrapped barbed wire as tight as possible around the guys.... well I'll stop there.

I hate man's capacity for cruelty. Not only against people with whom we have issue, over petty squabbles, but against animals who have no ability to commit wrong. There is nothing more infuriating. These type of people have a sickness of the mind. Cowards who delight in harming an animal which views the man or woman inflicting the pain as its alpha.

I heard a story about a man who was trying to drown his dog, and who fell and knocked himself unconscious. The dog saved his life of course.
