Crazy Fire Laws Still in Effect

In Alabama, You cannot Chain your alligator to a fire hydrant.

In New Britain, CT, It is illegal for fire trucks to exceed 25mph, even when going to a fire.

In Carthage, IL, It is forbidden to feed the firemen.

In Chicago, IL, It is illegal to eat in a place that is on fire.

In Marshalltown, IA, Horses are forbidden to eat fire hydrants.

In Mount Pleasant, IA, It is illegal to tie a dog, horse, goat, cow, pig or child to a fire truck.

In Fort Madison, IA, The fire department is required to practice firefighting for 15 minutes before attending a fire.

In Iowa, It is illegal to have sex before or during a fire.

In Louisiana, You may not tie an alligator to a fire hydrant.

In Reno Nevada, Staging a marathon dance is illegal, although posting a notice on a fire hydrant about illegal dance marathons is not.

In Pennsylvania, All fire hydrants must be checked 1 hour before all fires.

In Charleston, SC, The fire department may blow up your house. This law was made so that the fire department could create a fire brake.

In Utah, No one may have sex in the back of an ambulance if it is responding to a fire.

In Washington, No one may set fire to another person's property without prior permission.

And my all time Favorite....

In Wisconsin, It is illegal to wake a fireman when he is asleep.
