NEW YORK (Reuters Life!) - Miss USA 2006 is in danger of losing her crown due to bad behavior, organizers of the annual beauty pageant said on Thursday.

Property magnate and TV "reality" series star Donald Trump, who owns the Miss USA and Miss Universe contests, will decide next week whether or not Tara Conner would keep the title, they said.

A spokeswoman for the contest declined to give any details on Conner's misbehavior or comment on online reports about incidents of inappropriate conduct at New York bars.

Okay, I'm curious about just what the inappropriate conduct might be. :?:
Maybe just that she was at a bar? To me, that sounds out-of-line all by itself.

She wasn't 21 yet for starters, secondly there's also possible substance abuse. Finally the story I read said that her partying made Paris Hilton look like an amateur. There are other factors as well.

My understanding is that those pageants provide opportunities for the winners.
Sound slike she's throwing hers away. Silly girl.

She is apparently not meeting some of her contractual obligations either. Hard to say about the fallout. Vanessa Williams was forced to give up her crown because some nude photoe of her taken well before she entered the pageant were published in a magazine but in that case the damage seemed to be more to the pageant than her because she has had a very successful career.

Underage drinking, for one. Heck, she's from Kentucky...there's no telling what she's doing.
