Well, I can understand that cat. What's more interesting than flushing a toilet?
My cats have some sort of obsession too. They want every door in the house to be open so they actually learned how to open them; they just jump on the doorknob and twist them a bit so they can open the door and enter every room in the house.

Omg that was too funny 
A tad off topic but when we had our cat we dumped her litter box in the compost pile ( this was my parents idea not mine lol) Well Bootsie..being ever observant, decided that her human hosts were expending too much energy walking all the way to the compost pile, so she started doing her business here.
