What were some funny things about how they made really old movies?

Me...

1. When they used white men to star in movies as Indians and filled them up with makeup.

2. When people were riding in cars, the windows showed fake scenes

3. Good guys rode white horses and bad guys rode black horses.

4. Using different kinds of props for sound effects.

They could get such feelings and suspense without special effects. Movie makers today couldn't have made movies back then.

People have to fling their guns to shoot when the gun shot SFX (Sound Effects to be short) is used in old western movies.
