Sitting here thinking about just how blessed I am to have so many *cyber weather buddies* and watching the sun peek up over the mountains has made me appreciate the small things in life. What are you most thankful for.

First off, I have to say my health, I am so thankful that the Good Lord has let me witness the dawning of a new day......a day He has created. Second, my family, without family, there's nuthin'. Third, all my dear friends here at storm2K. Fourth, Jesus.......without Jesus in my life, there is no meaning, He IS the reason for everything!

I could go on and on but I believe these are some of the most important things I am thankful for.

There are many things, Dennis....but this morning it is that I can start my day at work with a cup of hot coffee, a visit to Storm2k, and a customer who brought in a cashier's check for his printing...all before 7 am!!!

Great topic Dennis! :)

I am thankful for so many things...first and foremost that my Lord and Savior Jesus is always in control...and always there when I call upon his name.

I'm also so very thankful for all my friends here at Storm2K. Many I've known now for several years, and am so thankful I found you and this website. I humbly thank each of you and treasure your friendship.

I'm thankful for my younger sisters....they know when I need a kind word, and are always there for me.

I'm also thankful to be alive.....thankful the Lord allowed me to witness another glorious sunrise....and the beauty of nature.

May God bless,
Perry

I could post forever, but I can really sum it up by saying I am thankful for everything. I have always had everything I have needed and I am so grateful for that. There are so many things that happen in life that we wonder why they occur, but I have faith that they happen for a reason.

Garrett said it best - I too am thankful for everything I have. Especially that I have found a woman to love and who loves me, unconditionally. 8-)

I'm thankful for my faith in God. So many have none and seem so hopeless. I'm thankful for God's love for me.

Then I'm so very thankful for my family and loved ones. They make me whole.

I'm so very thankful for my friends, friends like you guys, friends where I work, neighborhood friends and childhood friends. What a blessing in my life.

God has given me so very much. With faith, family, loved ones and friends I need nothing more.

I'm grateful for....

My husband and children! Without them, I don't think I would have done so well 4 years ago. That said...

That I'm cancer free!

My Mom and brothers (wives and children).

My husband's family. Sure they drive me crazy at times, but they're a very supportive family. 4 years ago I found out just how supportive they can be!

My faith in God and being a Catholic.

My friends. I'm still close with two gals from High School. Yup, we met in our Freshman year and that's going back to 1970!!! Yikes, I'm getting up there.

We haven't had another 9-11.

My wx buddies - you know who you are. That list seems to grow constantly - what a blessing!

And finally, I'm grateful Eric/Skywatch_NC gave me the Storm2K link. Thanks so much Eric!!!

No, that's not cheesy Pawlee! :wink:

Nice thread Dennis!

I am very thankful for my family, Marty, my friends (cyberpsace and all!), my pets, my job, my health, my garden, my home and wonderful neighbors. I am also thankful for the various trials and tribulations that I have gone through (aka grown up :roll: ), because they have helped me become the person I am now (for better or for worse! :wink: ) and appreciate everything I have.

Everything that I have done, experienced, accomplished, felt would not have occurred of course if it wasn't for the good grace of GOD. Whatever my future holds, I know that it will happen because that is what was planned for me by HIM. I've learned alot and I know I have alot more to learn.

I am thankful that, despite 51 years of uncertainty, I'm still here (which means God isn't finshed with me yet!);

Coppertop, and the promise of the future that lies in his hands;

Annabelle, for being the love-a-baby Ho' she is;

And to all of YOU, friends and companions of Storm2K, without whom (with a little help from DELL), I'd have gone into a comatose state years ago.

And, although I haven't seen her for over a year, here's to Shelley, my counselor and friend...wherever she is, may God bless her and continue to send her clients to whom His light will shine through her never-ceasing faith, prayers, caring and empathy.

As I sat here reading this thread I became overwhelmed by emotion. It touched me how the people on this board truely do act like family and share some of themselves everytime they answer a post. I feel that, that is amazing and that even though We as a whole may have differences, as the S2K family We are strong and strong for each other. That is such a wonderful thing to be a part of.
Thank You Dennis for this Post and I thank God for giving Me the ability to read it, for one, and the ability to actualy feel emotion while reading it.
My list is as follows:
God
Family
My life
Friends (S2K)
Co-workers (A Brotherhood)
and the brave men and women
that serve our country.

God Bless
