I'm probably in the minority, but the 4th of July (Independence Day) is my favorite holiday.

Which holiday is your favorite?

God bless,
Perry

The Christmas Season - decorating, shopping, wrapping, baking, and then the big day - the 25th. Going to church with my family, seeing church so nicely decorated. All of it! Exhausting yes, but I love that time of year. If it snows, then it's even better!

I'd have to say Christmas also. I love to decorate, shop and wrap the gifts. It's such a magical season! :x-mas:

Christmas is definitely my favorite holiday, followed by Thanksgiving. Of course, my waist-line suffers during these holidays, but my taste buds are very happy! :cheesy:

Im with you Mary.. I love the christmas season. The thing I have to have in my house is a real pine tree. There is something about the smell of a real christmas tree that sends me straight back to my childhood.

You are a woman after my own heart! :) It would not feel right to me to decorate a fake Christmas tree.

I've always loved Christmas and the holiday season; but sadly I've lost two precious family members within days of Christmas (Mom 12/11/77 & aunt Ruby 12/26/00) :(

That's why Independence Day is my favorite....parades, BBQ, home made ice cream, fireworks, and no sad memories to dampen my spirits.

That is very tough when you lose loved ones around a special time of the year. It does bring back sad memories.

I love Halloween and Thanksgiving!!!

I really can't choose my favorite Holiday. Out of them all my least favorite would be Valentine's Day and Halloween. Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter (not in this or any particular order; chronological in terms of November to March or April).

Any holiday that I don't have to work is my favorite.
Especially the ones that I get paid for.

Well........I don't know, being in the grocery business for so many years, I got to where I "HATED" the holidays, especially Thanksgiving, my God...........the TURKEYS we use to sell, I mean TRUCKLOADS. I still have a hard time with holidays even though I've been retired for over 5 years now, hmmmm, if I had to pick one, Martin Luther King Day "LOL!" Sorry..........I'd have to pick Christmas too.

Definitely Christmas, although I'm a fake tree offender. (It's infinitely easier to keep the needles off the floor.) The shopping chaos can get a little hairy at times, threatening to displace the true reason for the season, and there seem to be a lot of in-laws to appease, but when we keep our focus on Jesus, the good far outweighs the bad.

Although we had a difficult one last year, I think Christmas is the holiday the seems to mean the most to me. My parents always made it special....and we've tried to keep it that way with our family.

Working in a business where I generally work holidays, they have become less meaningful since my sons are gone. Emma, our granddaughter, may change all that!

She will be on her maiden voyage in our pool by 10 am tomorrow.
