Is it just me or does it seem like Microsoft products are way too often plagued with these kinds of things?

Just great! I have a Window PC. Fortunately, I have virus protection on it. However, it will likely not be enough. I'll keep a very close watch on this and be highly on the alert.

Wonderful. A new virus!

Somedays, I'm torn between a nicotine patch and a
Windows patch..... 8-)

Seriously, Luis, thanks for posting that. Gone are the days
that you actually have to OPEN the attachment, I'm
afraid.

Microsoft puts out very buggy software and expects us, their customers, to debug it for them.

Unfortunately, it's the only real game in town. Macs are too expensive, and Linux is a pain in the arse.

Sigh, this is one of the times I wish I had my Mac back. Maybe I should have the old man reinstall Linux on the other PC too or just wait for the new Google operating system that's coming out.

If google puts out an OS I'll bite. Where did you get that news/rumor?

And yes, Microsoft designs crap, markets it well, and then offers bug patches in the form of updates. Okay, that might be a bit too harsh, but only a bit.

Use linux when you need dependability, windows when you need ease and games etc.

Because of the likely threat, I removed my avatar. I will wait before downloading a new picture for my avatar and be on the alert for a threat, which is highly likely.
