Go girl, cute avatar. I will be doing some drinking myself, but at home. Not venturing out anywhere this year.

Pals in nearby town usually have a habit of phoning at the
last minute. Let's see....NY Eve is Saturday night - I should
get a call on Saturday morning if anything is brewing!

Haven't done a New Year's Eve since 1981...doesn't look promising this year, either.

Call me a bad mom!

Downtown Fairhope has a family New Years Eve night and we are going to that. I will bring the double jogging stroller and let the girls sit in it. They have music and at midnight the town actually drops a silver ball from one of the ladder firetrucks. It is neat and nice to take your family. Plus you see everyone there that you havent' seen in years.

PAR-TAY ON Linda!
We're heading over to Lake Charles to bring in the new year with our best friends. We did it last year and had a wonderful time. We've spent the last 10 or so new years with them and all of our kids.

Nope... of course, I rarely ever leave the house anyway, so why start now?
I'll watch the ole ball drop in Times Square like I do every year.

Yeah, I plan on going out for New Years Eve. I already have a designated driver. I plan on sleeping at her house. If for someone reason, her and her husband decide to go home early, I can always call a cab back to her house. She only lives maybe 5 blocks at most away from where we are going. I am playing it safe. Never can be too careful with all the drunks out there.

Yea, I'll be partying this new years. A few options I'm considering. The first option is party out here at home with my immediate family and ring in the new year with them. Another is with my aunt, uncle, and relatives down in northern Anne Arundel County near BWI Marshall Arpt. The Inner Harbor in Baltimore while crowded is the place to ring in the new year with a big fireworks spectacular at midnight. So those three options I'm considering, just which option will be my final option is what I need to decide on by tomorrow at days end. I might take a long time friend of mine out to the harbor in Baltimore. But again those things are being debated. I'm playing it safe this year regardless. I don't drink hardly at all, so it's best to play it safe, plus it seems more fun that way in my opinion.
Have a happy and safe new year everyone. 2 nights to go.

Yeah.. and ABC's been running promos hyping his return, so unless something happens between now and then, he'll be there.

Let's see. Indeed we will be among friends from 6 til ?? on New Year's Eve.
The morning person I am (I will be up before 5 on New Year's Day), I've been told I lose my pulse sometime after 10 and they watch my pupils closely after 11 to see if they even dialate in any source of light.
All that without a drink or three.
So, while we intend to enjoy the company of friends on New Year's Eve, there is some question about whether my actions will be considered "partying" at any time after the 9 o'clock hour.

Staying home, have to go to the string band club in the morning to see his brother off for the parade and will party all day New Year's day on Broad street then on 2 street. They start at around 4AM and go non-stop till the wee hours of the morning of the 2nd and it's all free, can't wait
