Do you know your current events?

#1 Postby wx247 » Wed Dec 28, 2005 11:36 am

Try your luck on the news that made headlines in 2005. I got 22/25. Some were fairly difficult.

"You answered 36% of questions correctly."

YAAAAY!!! LOL, I'm not much on watching the news, unless
something particular grabs my attention. I'd rather be
blissfully oblivious to most of it....

I try to keep up with current events because I'm on the academic team at the local community college (scholarship money is good). They come up often in competitions. :D

#2. I said that he made a plea bargain when in fact Kansas didn't have the death penalty at the time.

#21. I said Lance Armstrong was from California (I guess my reasoning was mountains...) when in fact he was from Texas.
