Yes old timers, it's THAT time AGAIN to ask the YEARLY question, what's your favorite Christmas Special?

Mine is of course  "Charlie Brown Christmas!" A close second, "National Lampoons Christmas Vacation!" I CANNOT get enough of that movie!

"A Christmas Carol"...either the 1937 Reginald Owen version, or the (IMHO, better) 1951 Alastair Sim screenplay, both by Rand Corporation (UK).

1944's "Bells of St. Mary's", with Bing Crosby and Ingrid Bergman, takes a close second place. :larrow:

I still like the Grinch and also Rudolph and the Island of Misfit Toys. Then, Christmas in Connecticut is up there for an oldie.

I also like Scrooged with Bill Murray.

Like you, Dennis, I can't get enough of cousin Eddie in Christmas vacation...but the uncut version is best. My sons and I will often laugh out loud just thinking about that movie.

I suspect that sometime on Christmas morning they will play back a quote or two and have me in stitches again. And my wife still claims the squirrel on the back sequence is one of the best ever!!
