Dangerous Places to hang your Decorations.

#1 Postby TexasStooge » Fri Dec 09, 2005 12:16 pm

Here are some dangerous places to hang your Christmas decorations:

Wall mounted light bulb - Some plastic decorations could melt or catch fire easily if bulb was turned on.

Fire Sprinklers - They're easily set off if any decoration was mounted on there. Or for that matter, anything.

Space Heater - Same results as the wall mounted light bulb.

If y'all could think of anymore dangerous places to hang your Christmas Decorations, go ahead and post them here.

Went to the Snowball Derby in Pensacola over the weekend. In the motel they had the smoke detector hanging right over the bathroom door. LOL!!

Near the fireplace if you burn fires.

If you have young children be careful where you put the glass ornaments on your tree. Also the little silver hangers can be dangerous for little ones.

Watch out for candles to. I had a roommate that burned one on my speakers in college and I had wax going to down the front of it.

Ah yes, the old hang a decoration from a fire sprinkler. My school did that when I was in grade 7. Results were messy during set-up, got the fire department there in a hurry, and many wet cold kids.
