Off work until Monday!!!!!!

I just love this time of year!!! A 4 day weekend. I really deserve it since I haven't had any extra days off (except weekends) since early February. I'm exhausted...but now my holiday is jam packed. Thanksgiving on Thursday, making 24 dozen itty bitty pralines and wrapping them on Friday, a wedding to attend on Saturday. Wait!!!! I can sleep on Sunday! YAY!
Anyone else get an extended holiday???

My mom wished this was the case for her. After Thanksgiving Day, she has to go back to work Friday, then she has the weekend to herself.

I got today off, plus tomorrow, but, have to work 1/2 day
on Friday, then off the weekend. I'll be the only person in
the office, Friday - no patients. I should get some of
my dreaded paperwork done!

I have had this week off and go back to my crossing duties on Mon. My days off coincide with the schools calender for the kids. When the kids get a day off, I get one also.

I'm glad that you have a nice long weekend. I took Friday off for the 4 day weekend.
I don't have too much going on this weekend. Next weekend though is my sister-in-law's baby shower on Saturday, and the Employee Anniversary Gala on Sunday for those of us that have been there 10, 15, 20 and 25 years. I just reached 10 years on October 2. I
never would've believed it back then!

Today was my first day off. I'm off through Sunday, back to school Monday. My 3 younger brothers weren't so lucky...they had to go today. It was a nice, quiet day at home today.

Nope, only off tomorrow and then it's a DUI task force the whole weekend, follow up on a TON of burglaries......ah yes, the life of a public servant

Yes, I get tomorrow through Sunday off. On Monday, I actually have to go in early. Ugh... that is just not right...

No way any extended holiday for me. Thanksgiving is the only day I have off. I am just thankful that we were closed this year. Because K-mart and Wal-mart were open today. I work the dreaded retail business. Off to bed now. Got to get up for 5 a.m. Have to be work for 6 a.m.! And don't get off until 5 p.m. Pray that I don't get stampeded tomorrow by the mobs of customers. It will be even more crazy this year because of Katrina and Rita evacuees. So, just hoping I survive yet another Black Friday.
