Say a prayer for me that I get the yorkie puppy (update)

I am sooooo excited right now. But, I know it is way premature and I may end up disappointed once again. Let me explain why. You know that I lost my yorkie Lacey June 30, 2005 from kidney failure. We had her since was 6 weeks old. And she lived to be 13 and half years old. She was my baby. And I took it so hard. Crying almost every day because my home seems so empty without her. No dog will ever replace my sweet little Lacey. But, my mom and I have been wanting another yorkie puppy. It will fill the emptiness and help us with the grieving process. But, my mom and I only wanted a female and almost every breeder we called wanted $900 and up. Or lived out of state. Well, we found this lady gave me this man's phone number. He only lives 30 minutes away. His yorkie is due on November 22nd! 5 puppies are on the way! They are registered with papers and he is selling them for only $500! The only reason that I am trying not to get too excited is this... He already got a huge stack of phone numbers of people wanting the puppies. But, we gave him our name and number. And my mom said she will drive over there as soon as the puppies are born. I hope it is first come first served. I am just worried that with so many people wanting the puppies already, we won't stand a chance. I really want this puppy more than anything. My mom said the man was really sweet on the phone. He is an elderly cajun man with a strong cajun accent. He lives alone. He just lost his wife to cancer 2 years ago. I am just praying that we get one of the puppies! They will only be 3 and half pound when full grown. My Lacey only weighed 4 and half pounds at her heaviest. I already got a name picked out Chloe Cheyenne. What do you guys think?

Awww, I will keep my finger crossed for ya. I hope it works out for you guys, it will so help fill your void. Half of those people that he has the names and numbers of will probably not show, or already got a pup, and are not as drivin as you are right now. I think you have a great chance, don't give up. The name is great!!! Ecspecially seeing where he/she will be coming from. I really hope you get a new little friend. I'm rooting for ya. Good luck cajungal. Let us know how it goes. I do hope that you are able to get one from this litter. I'm keeping my fingers crossed as well.

I've had pets that have passed on as well and felt guilty about getting another one without making it look like you're "replacing" them. YOU AREN'T. They will always be there in your hearts and memories. You're just opening your heart and home to love another!

If I could afford it, I would live at a zoo! I just love animals and dogs are my favorite. Yorkies are my favorite breed. I fell in love with them after having my Lacey. Boxers come in at a close second.
