Santorum is up for re-election next year. I don't think any Republican is challenging him in the primary as of yet, but that might change since his polling against the Democratic candidate Bob Casey is just terrible - as much as 20 points down in some polls, no better than 12 points down in even his best poll of the last couple of months.
