We never get many, so the past few years my husband has gone with the girls and I trick or treating, so really I don't know latley we aren't here. But as we were pulling out the driveway we got 3 kids coming to our gate. I was like man, we finally get some and we are leaving. LOL. We live on a dead end road with only a few houses so I think that is why they never come this way. We went to my moms neighborhood about a quater mile away this year, she got about 14. She always gets them. Fun for them since we are grown and gone gives them joy to see the kids come knocking.

Well, here in our neighborhood, there are at least twenty kids below 10 that live here SO we had 70 and then I ran out of Junior Mints so the lights went out and I sat in the dark for the next hour reading posts on S2k and a couple of other boards I visit.
What a difference it makes when you live in a climate where it is almost always a quiet, still evening with temperatures in the 70's and no wind!

I don't know how many we had, since I was out with my DD most of the night getting candy from other people
; but my parents had 28; the most they have ever had (and this is a small town). EVERYONE hits one corner of town where all of the yards are decorated and people dress up - I am sure most houses over there got well over 100 (that's where I took my daughter LOL).

We estimate near 400 lil trick or treaters, actually of all ages....We live in a wonderful planned community with lighted paths, etc, and lots and lots of kids! Was our most successful Halloween ever. Had to run out for 18 more bags of candy....after going through our alotted candy, and reserve candy...busy night here, and lots of fun! Our church had a turnout of around 7000 kids....awesome!
