About the tapping/clicking sounds in my puter...

...That I mentioned about a few weeks ago? Well, after I deleted my old OS my dad put in an old version of the same one, that already had the tapping sounds.
Well, another round came today, and after I tried restarting my puter something popped up that said I have to run a disk check for consistency.
All of a sudden (as it was checking), there was a slew of things that popped up that said something like this:
The disk check for consistency thing has popped up before, but nothing has ever been deleted before. And afterwards, the puter started normally, and I found nothing deleted (mostly because all my files are in a backup disk instead of the C drive). Is this suppose to be normal?
