Years and years ago - Wasn't there an instance in which an air traffic controller in south FL looked out of the tower at a silver little jet that had been circling and circling. It was a CUBAN MIG, whos pilot was defecting. He had flown in undetected, and resorted to circling the airport until finally getting noticed. If I've heard this right - you know the urban legend mantra - but still, if as-heard, then wowzers! Good thing he didn't slide in with a bomb on that MIG and head for Crystal River or someplace like that.
