OK, which one of you logged on to a Larry Poons (artist who was noted for visually reactive pattern paintings) retrospective??
One of Poons' works,
The Enforcer, is in the St. Louis Art Museum; it consists of a pattern of cardinal red dots on a royal blue canvas, yet I DARE you to look at it w/o getting a headache. The only way it can be seen is from about 12" away...any farther, and Poons introduces you to heretofore uncharted levels of PAIN.

LOL, show me those after I have had my evening margarita!
WHY is it that I can hear Jimi Hendrix's "Purple Haze"
playing in my head? Or, Jefferson Airplane's "White
Rabbit"?
(Still very cool!)
