I went to the hairdresser and got my hair done for the first time since just before the Kat came out of the bag (some of you might know what I mean LOL).
But it's still all anybody can talk about, more than a month after it happened. In the post office, the gossip is all about whose windows got smashed and how many folks from New Orleans are still in the local shelters and the like. It's still quite surreal here.

Love your avatar!!!
I found someone to cut my hair yesterday as well. Still can't find my girl. I FINALLY found my eye doctor - I had ordered contact lens the week before the K word. His Gretna office was destroyed (my mouth fell open when I saw it yesterday). He is working out of his Kenner office. Long story short - he will mail my contacts to me in Baton Rouge - YAY!
