On Lou Dobbs tonight comes this report-three language instructors at the Special Ops School at Fort Bragg, two Indonesian, one Singalese were busted by ICE for using fraudulent documents to obtain employment-in other words they were illegals. One guess as to one of the major hot beds for Jemaah Islamiyah, AQ's Asian subsidiary is located. The security implications are not pleasant.

I've often wrestled with the best way to seal off the freeflowing human movement across the Mexico/Arizona border...and how a federal entity could do it right. They tend to be so top heavy when they create a means of getting things done that the field remains void of the worker bees.
The Minuteman project, although scary in itself for the risks it poses and the risks posed to it, at least brings attention to the project. And they are growing as an organization, albeit freelancing a bit much along the way.
You live in one of the most porous areas of the country, Steve, and in contrast to all the security at international airports, you must look out the window and cry knowing how many resources remain misguided these days.
