Take a look at this New Orlean's BIG BOY!

#1 Postby Stellar Storm » Sat Oct 01, 2005 5:33 pm

Now this is an Alligator! This gator was found in New Orleans swimming down the street. 21 FT long, 4,500 lbs, around 80 years old minimum.
Specialists said that he was looking to eat humans because he was too old to catch animals.

I don't know if I buy that. I have grown up looking at alot of gators. Even the old guys in gator land are no where close to that big. No way that is real.

Looks more like a croc then a gator. I think it is from another country and the measurements may be streached a little.

Yea I knew something was up there. The record for a gator in FL is 19 feet and around 600 lbs. 4500 lbs still seems like alot on a 21 foot croc. But at any rate it's not a gator and its not in this country.

EDIT: Just read further on that link posted above and the actual measurements of the croc were 16 ft. and 1,874 lbs. Still a monsterous animal!!!!!

O, Town - I guess next you're going to tell me that the ocean front property in Arizona you offered really doesn't exist?! :hmm:

That's okay..... I STILL have my swampland.

Well good luck with it. Ya know my husbands uncle had bought some swamp land here in Fl. years ago. And ended up that they sold it for a cool million when the added the Internation Drive extension that goes through on of the hottest tourist areas in Orlando. Not far from Disney. So ya never know. :) Maybe when they rebuild there they may rebuild differently and you may end up in a good spot.
