Do you mean that you'd like to pursue funding to build a dome home? Do you have information that grants exist? What would be the basis for the grant? Do you know who gives the grants? Heck, I'd like to get a grant too, to get a house.

I don't know about a grant, but you might research builders of these types of homes. They are still so new, I bet you could get a decent deal if you allowed them to use your home as a model. Check it out!!!

Sorry if it sounded like I wanted a freeby, because I dont, It was a thought that crossed my mind living on the coast, and I wanted to check into options, I have heard of grant writing before, but know nothing about it. If I wanted to just jump in I can sell my current house and fund it myself, as this house if paid for, no, I dont look for hand outs and really regret even putting this topic up.

I was curious to learn something and did a google search. It seems that most grant writing information pertains to non-profits and local gov't entities that are seeking and competing for various gov't grants.

It's funny, that the third listing that appeared was Matthew Lesco's site. You know, the crazy guy on the TV ads....

Needless to say, he's a scam.
