Unconfirmed, but I read that the NFL is going to donate $1,000,000 to the Katrina relief efforts. I hope it's true.

Some of these other people need to step up to the plate, Tiger Woods, Bill Gates to name a few, I mean HEY......if I can donate $2k to the Salvation Army, so can THEY

And Brett Favre (native of Kiln, MS) thankfully was able to get through and make contact with his family.

I heard that. He said he was just going through the motions the first few days not knowing anything.
