A change in Season.

Well my friends, my family and I have come to the end of a wonderful season here in the USA. We will be flying off back to the dark continent of Africa on the 1st of December at 7am. Airfare is booked and paid for. I must say when I finally paid for the air tickets it was like closing a book and putting it on the shelf. A book full of wonderful memories. I hope to take a part of the United States of America back to my home with me, and share all the wonderful things I have learnt in this country with others. I will be flying old glory from my flag pole at home, right along side my nations flag.
Now I have to go and pack.... but oh crap... I have so much junk, it's hard to know where to start!!!!!!!!

Yes, as far as Storm2k is, I see no change in seeing you here all the time. Have a safe trip and continue spending all your free time with us.

Unfortunately we will be starting over again from scratch. In South Africa, you are charged per minute you are on the internet, needless to say it becomes VERY expensive. I may be able to drop a few Emails, but gone are my days of spending hours online.... talk about having to quit cold turkey huh!

You are one special lady, Bronnie. You inspired many here, and I have learned much from you along the way.
I appreciate, for sure and for years to come, the conversations of recent months. I am humbled by your strength and faith. And I know that is what will carry you through without fail.
You will need to find a way to stay in touch. Composing emails and then shooting them off in one cluster takes little time. But it will mean a lot to many of us.
We will chat some more before you leave, but how wonderful that your daughter will be both American and South African...and I hope sincerely that your son, the sensitive and loving fellow he is, will find magic and wonder in the people and land as you have done in your life.
Wouldn't you know....all that stuff to sell, and this year no tropical storm to blow it away and make an insurance claim!!!
You are loved, Bronnie...

Amanzi - indeed, you will be missed VERY much here at S2K. It will feel like losing a family member but hopefully we'll hear from you again. There is always snail mail ya know....

. Write to an S2K friend and keep in touch that way. This friend can keep us updated on you and your lovely family. We can't just let you disappear! We simply will not let that happen....
I wish you the very best......
Mary

Bron,
you will most definitely be missed around here. Its been an interesting time getting to know you and your culture... Change is hard and it will take time to get to a normal routine. I'm sure you will find time for emails to let everyone know how you and your family are doing. Please try to keep in touch.

Thanks for all the well wishes guys.
Change is not easy, especially when you have 2 little kids, and it can be kind of daunting starting over with virtually no furniture, car or material posessions. I am just very greatful to know that God is in control of my future and I know He will not let me down, or give me a burden to heavy to carry. On the flip side, my parents have never even met my 1 year old and the last time they saw my son he was still in diapers. There is a lot for us to be greatful for about starting this new chapter in life. With God directing my feet, I may stumble a few times, but with His guiding light I will always go in the right direction.
I will send emails from time to time (finances permitting..

) Gosh and to think South Africa has ONE radar for the entire nation that is open to the public and it really is a stinker

No loops and such for me... booohooo. What on earth am i going to do with all my free time now...

Guess my house will be a lot cleaner

Well....we still have some time before December, so don't drop out of the picture just yet. When you are ready to pull the plug on your connection here, though, give us a little notice. I, for one, will want to leave you with some words and thoughts....as you have done for me.

LOL Steve... knowing me, my husband will be trying to drag me out the door to go to the airport while I have one hand on the keyboard screaming... "Just one last post....."
