Anybody else see it this weekend?
I was pleasantly entertained. Nothing extraordinary, but not a disappointment either. The story flowed, made sense, and ended with a nice (although predictable) resolution.
And as a skeptic myself, I enjoyed that the protagonist was one.
There were a few moments that startled my friends out of their seats and a handful of screams from the audience. However, I'm still waiting for that one horror movie that scares the heebie jeebies out of me (hasn't happened yet, darn it).
Saw previews for some real sorry looking flicks coming soon. I can't wait for the fall TV season.

The only horror movie that ever scared the c--- out of me was not really a horror movir. it was "The Day After" I think that was the name--about a nuclear war here. I had nightmares for months after that.

Yeah, that just recently aired on TVLand during their TV-Movie marathon. I was glad to get to see it again, although they cut a few moments (probably for brevity).

We saw Skeleton Key last night at the drive in...I was surprised by the ending and thought it was worth my time watching....The Wedding Crashers was the second feature last night...and it was funny, and worth seeing as well...we saw willie wonka opening week, it was good, nothing amazing...

"The Ring" scared me as did "The Excorcist" to som extent.
While waiting for the Skeleton Key to come on I saw a preview for "The Excorcism of Emily Rose"

I remember that movie well....I was about 11 years old when I first saw that movie....couldn't sleep for weeks in fear we were under nuclear attack...watched it again on tv land recently....still gave me the chills
