Laura is feeling much better. Matter of fact she is going to school at 10:30am. The only reason I kept her home this morning is because the school board has a rule that your child must be symptom free for 24 hours and I am going to do that. At 10 she will be symptom free for 24 hours. She is very excited about going to school today. I just hope this excitement will last through the all year. Of course I know she will want to sleep in, etc and not want to get up. The only difference is that I will be getting up and dressed early since I am going back to work as soon as a teacher needs me.

Glad to hear that she is feeling better! It sounds like it was the dreaded first day of school jitters.

That is what I thought it was too and when she asked me why I sent her to school sick and try to explain that I thought it was the first school jitters this was her comment

I am not scared of school mom. I like school. Out of a mouth of a first grader.
