Ebay Scam

I am not sure if I read abouth this on this site or not, but there is an Ebay scam involving details such as Western Union and an African student and they never get you the money and you lose your item. Well, I recieved an email from him(them). I thought I'd post it before I sent it to Ebay. Here is the email:

I always used to get stuff like that from what is supposed to be ebay. Different person but similar scam. :x

As far as I'm concerned, unless they win the auction and pay me first, I don't ship spit.

Anytime you get an email regarding Ebay or your account, forward it on to ....

spoof@ebay.com


Ebay does not send out emails to you.

That reeks of scam. It sounds like the sender wants to buy it outright and not go thru the bidding process. I would'nt touch it with a 10-foot pole. It's against ebay rules too. I think that if you just play by the rules, ship when paid, and avoid side deals, you'll be fine.

I get spoof emails all the time. I just reply it back to the sender with a cc to spoof@ebay.com

Usually I get a thank you from ebay.
