...What a Wonderful World...

Things have really been going great for me... Almost to a crazy amount... I just needed to make a list somewhere of all the amazing things that i've accomplished, and all that seems to be working out recently.

1. I've done some college visits; and i'm leaving for two more tomorrow.

2. I've done most of my summer reading; and what's remaining, I have the books and everything. Just a few court cases to read for Government.

3. I'm in Band. Yes, after many years of being the only person in my group of friends to NOT be in Band, I finally made it. I'm playing random auxilery parts this semester, during marching season. Next semester... Clarinet.

4. I have the amazing schedule I want this coming year. Sign Language. Psychology. Band. I can't wait!

5. My girlfriend and I are doing just fine; despite our lengthy seperations during this summer, as she's been out of town quite often.

6. My iPod. Quite nice. 639 songs. But who's counting?

7. I've started college applications. I even have teachers asking me to let them write my reccomendations.

...

I mean, there's so much more. I couldn't be more thankful. I really don't deserve all of this. I'm so used to SOMETHING going wrong...

I don't want to make this a thread of my gloating; so how about some of y'all tell us your good luck. Maybe it'll spread. :)

college visits are fun.... make a list of questions for the student ambassadors to possibly answer.... have a good idea on what you would like to study that always leaves a good impression on the academic offices... and if you get a chance to talk with professors ask them the best way to work yourself into the curriculum of your desired major. Your HS teachers are a wonderful choice for letters of recommendations... they know your skills really well and that might help you get more scholarships for school. Don't be afraid to apply for financial aid or scholarships... they help!!!!!

FYI... I also played clarinet in the band.... if you want to try marching band in college... that an awesome opportunity to travel with the football team or other sports teams

I wish I could have taken ASL (sign) in high school... we didn't have that chance... I was exposed to ASL as a child and wanted to refresh my skills, but could not. HS Psych is fun, college is even better... you'll enjoy that class.

I'm a freshly graduated college student with a Bachelors, if you have any questions let me know.
