cry: Happy Tears because I thought this was very cool when I heard it.. But it's sad it had to happen so soon

I don't know if I told you guys about my old HS athletic director who suddenly passed away back on 1/22. He was 38 yrs old..

Anyway.. I just found out today from his wife.. That on Sept. 2nd in my alma maters' home opening football game, They {my school} is renaming the entire football/baseball area after him..

They are naming it something along the lines of the "David Ridenour Sports Complex"..

I don't know if I'll go to the "game".. But I know I at least wanna be there for the ceremonies. Plus his wife really wants me to be there..

Still can't believe he died so young

Thanks Eric.. School starts on Friday, I think I'll call over there and speak to 1 of my principal's still there {I know at least 1 is lol} and tell them I think it's a great idea..

I would go. That is nice they are doing that. And I agree 38 is young. Especially since I am 35.
