That we would GET A NEW KITTEN!!!! As my wife told you last Friday that she had to put to sleep my daughters cat to sleep. She had been asking for another kitten. Well we went out just today to look to see what there was, and fell in love with a little 10 week old male kitten. He is the cutest thing. Just wanted to share the good news!!!! :D Again it will not replace Tigger but it will make our daughter happy. We named him Tiger, his colors look like one.

Awww, congrats on the new family addition. You've given a kitten a very good home and my next pet will come from a shelter too. So many animals in shelters need loving homes.

When you have time, you'll have to post a picture of Tiger!

new kittens are fun...watch out for bite marks and climbing all over EVERYTHING... we have 4 month old kitten at home... it didn't take my mom long to get him front declawed... now we are waiting to bring him in to get the snip, snip. He was the youngest kitten ever at the vet to get declawed (only 9 weeks at the time of declaw... we had him for a week.) On top of 'punk' we have a 5 year old FAT cat.... it took those two a whole to get along... now watch out for cat fights.

Best of luck with your new adventure.

Good for you Bud! There's never a right or wrong time to get a new pet after one has passed away.

Like Miss Mary said, I'd love to see a picture of him! :D

Please be sure to "kitten proof" your home before you bring your new baby home.

I gave my sister a new kitten last weekend and there was a big heavy mirror in her son's room. The kitten was playing and the mirror fell over and crushed him.

My mom and I have been talking about getting another dog since Lacey died. I know no other dog will ever replace her. She is one of a kind. My mom wants another Yorkie. But, she said not until closer to Christmas. Her and my dad are going out west for vacation for 2 weeks. And they said they won't have time for a dog. I know that makes me sound like a little kid. And I am a 29 year old adult. But, I am not going to dish out between $700-1200 for a Yorkie. But, if my mom wants another one and gets one, I will be thrilled. Even though I will be teary eyed at first because it will be a reminder of Lacey. I already have a named picked out Abby. We always get female dogs.

Congratz on the new kitty Bud! You did the right thing and ya obviously got a big heart.

Tiger will never be replaced, but your new kitties will begin new memories to help soothe the pain. You'll always miss Tiger, but the pain will go away with time. Every day will be a little bit better than the day before. It's important to know that.

Just wanted to update everyone on our new kitten named Tiger that we added to our family. He is very curious and happy. When you try to sleep he likes to lay above your head and purr into your ear!!! He is very sweet and oh so cute. When I know how to post a picture I will post a picture of the tiger of our jungle!!!! :)

Tiger must be the common name for cats. Tiger is also our kitten's name... however, we call him 'punk'.... very outgoing and loves to investigate everything!

The easiest way I found to upload pictures onto the internet from a digital camera is using an online place called photo bucket http://www.photobucket.com

Here are the two butt-heads running around our house.... fat one is Austin (we call hime Bud) and the little one is Tiger (he's called Punk!) They were helping me pack my bags for a military trip over to Viriginia the end of june.
