USS Carl Vinson arrives in Norfolk

#1 Postby MGC » Sun Jul 31, 2005 6:02 pm

My son is home from the war! We greeted the ship this morning when it arrived at the Naval Base in Norfolk. My son took us on a tour of the ship. All is well, I now have a son that has been around the world.....MGC

I hope that your stay over there is non-eventful and you are safe from harm Shanon.

So Glad he is home MGC! Please tell him thank you for his service to our country for me. My son's ship, The USS Theodore Roosevelt leaves in Sept. for the next cruise. At least my son got to see his son born before he will sail away for 6 months.
