Anyone heard from Perry (southernwx) lately? Last I heard he was caring for his aunt who was very ill.

She has passed away. He is probably up to his ears in all those things that have to be done after someone passes. Please keephim in your prayers.

Thanks MomH :)

Yes, aunt Millie passed away on July 15th, and I'm still struggling to get myself back together (emotionally and physically).

In addition to the grief of losing a loved one who treated me as her son...I've also been the one responsible for getting the affairs in order after her death. Our family is very small (my aunt was widowed with no children), so I've been forced to wear many hats in recent days....from arranging my great aunt's funeral to placing her will/ estate in probate (and that was more complex than I ever imagined; thankfully hiring an attorney has eased that stress); she owned two properties which I'm responsible for getting ready for sale (cleaned out, repairs made, etc).

I had this evening free...why I've posted a few things at Storm2k, but still won't be posting frequently for awhile.

Thanks,
Perry

I'm sorry to hear about your Aunt, Perry. Losing a loved one
is so stressful, by itself, and, taking care of all of their affairs
does add to the stress level, tremendously. I'm glad that you
have a lawyer to guide you through the process. You are in
my thoughts and prayers.

Prayers and thoughts sent your way, Perry! ((((HUG))))

Also, I just recently lost my Aunt Marlene in southern Indiana to cancer. She was diagnosed on November 16th, 2004 and passed away last weekend on July 23rd. Folks and I were away last week for the wake and funeral/burial
which was Tuesday. One of her two daughters Melissa will be getting married on September 17th in St. Louis.
