You can thank Southerngale for the inspiration for this thread

I'm presently using this one:
http://home.ripway.com/2005-7/362142/di ... ration.wav

BTW Kelly or (anybody else)...how do you get a link to say just "click here"?

I used to have my home PC set up with Xena sounds. For mail, it was Gabrielle saying, "You used my scrolls?" (From one of those episodes you just had to see in order to understand that line.) For startup, villainess Callisto saying, "I just love watching you work!"

To change to a quick link, type , then "Click here," then (with no actual paratheses around the link after the equals sign).

LOL j, anytime. Nice to see you around too - you've either been MIA or I keep missing you.

Ok, I know it's pretty basic, but can someone tell me how to get my computer to talk to me when I have mail? Everyone gets a message and I've never even tried to do it.

Control panel
Sounds and Multimedia (or something like that)
Under Sound Events, scroll down and single click on New Mail Notification
Select Browse
find the .wav file on your hard drive you want to use and double click on it.
Hit apply and OK and your good to go

LOL n/p - I had Googled it a little before asking...I just wasn't using the right key words at first, apparently. I was gonna delete my message above after I saw your reply, but you saw it. See, you were quick there!
