Hurricane forecasting fortune cookie?

Today, mine says "The most direct approach isn't always the best."

Why aren't the fortunes ever bad? I mean, you can't always have good luck in your future. Why don't they ever say something like "You are destined to a life of misery and failure." Come on, a little honesty. Helloooo???

Mine says, "You are sought out for your wisdom..."

My wife would disagree.

Have no idea where it started but we always add the phrase "in the bedroom" when reading a fortune. Sometimes hilarious, sometimes very prophetic.

One time I opened a fortune cookie at a restaurant and there was no fortune in it... I took it as a bad sign.... lol

And lets see, "in the bedroom..." being added to my most recent fortune, which I saved, and sits in my wallet...
