Are you working Monday? If not.. do you get paid?

Simple question..
I am off on Mondays always.. I get paid for being off because Monday is a holiday.. It also means my next check will look nice because this week I'll get paid 6 days for working 5..

I haven't worked for 11 years, but my husband is off Monday and he will get paid for the holiday.

My Dad works for the state but he's off for the 4th of July and doesn't get holiday pay.

I'll be at home working (painting a bedroom) and not getting paid for that! But at "work" work, I do get paid.

I'm working and I'm not getting any additional pay (since I'm paid by the month rather than the hour).
Woohoo for me... gotta love the 11pm to 7am shift.

I am working both Sunday and Monday, and since I am salaried rather than hourly, I simply get the same paycheck.

I am off on Monday. My boss said I will still get paid 5 hours holiday pay even though I am off. The workers that are scheduled will be getting time and a half.

Gotta work tomorrow...but I get a rotating holiday out of it, and will be taking it later this month when my family comes to visit!

I'm not working tomorrow, but I don't have any classes on Mondays this term anyway. Even if I did, campus would be closed, but I wouldn't be paid. For adjuncts, paid holidays don't exist -- if I don't work, I don't get paid, period. (The same goes for sick days or personal days.)
