Will you retain your previous rank and specialty?

You sure do us proud Mike! Not that you had to re-enlist but it is very admirable of you to do so. My niece's ex-husband did as well, with the 101st. He spent a year in Iraq saying he'd never re-enlist. Then it gets into your blood I guess, becomes second nature and sure enough we knew Kris would re-enlist. We all understood his decision. So in turn, I understand yours too.

My best to you....always.

If so, I believe that USAF will reinstate his commission, and likely a promotion plus bonus...specialists of all ranks are needed. :larrow:

HD, wish I were going with you!

LOL yeah I will be a bit CHILLY :P but my favorite brother-in-law is there as well as my wifes sister. The air is clean and crisp. The Humidity is low and the snow is abundant.

Sorry for the Off topic of your thread.. we can finish this on AIM if you want.. enjoy your new commission my friend. I think it's a great decision.

Shannon pops a 'salute' hello sir.

I have a while before I reenlist... not til '09... (reservist) I may be an officer by then.

I'm on my way for to the sandbox (soon)... a couple of months at Charleston and then 120 days in the sandbox... and then another 120 days back to Charleston and then finally back to Milwaukee.

Congratulations again!

July 4th is a wonderful weekend to announce the news!

We are proud, and we are encouraged by those like you who are willing to carry out the mission...whatever it is; wherever it may be.

Thank you. Thank you.
