Need a picture...

I'm looking for the "perfect" picture...either a picture of the US from space or a graphic that cleary depicts the US...something that is in keeping with the theme "over the horizon."
A little background on my current boat project. We're building over the horizon cutter boats - normal cutter boats operate within line of sight. Mine...well let's say they go farther and faster...
I'm delivering a new boat to a cutter that currently holds the record for the number of total pounds of seized narcotics. It's a pretty big deal for the cutter and for Zodiac...and we're looking to design some t-shirts for the crew. That's where the graphic/picture request comes in. I've been looking online for about two hours and nothing's really caught my eye yet.
Anyone here know of any good links?
To keep it interesting, whoever submits the image we pick, we'll send one of the OTH t-shirts and a Zodiac hat...compliments of the USCG...
Thanks in advance...and enjoy the show...
Another one bites the dust...

I have the curvature of the earth pictures from 2003 when we launched a balloon into space... portions of the pics are kind of fuzzy... (however, they are of the earth, not the US)

Good luck with your line of work, you are doing such an amazing job and deserve to be commended...
Have you tried Space.com?

Here is some additional help: Once you get on the site Space.com about in the center of the page click on Amazing images, that is where you can go in and search around for images.. If you get the chance look at some of the images taken of Hurricane Ivan last year by Satelitte, they are phenomenal! Good luck

Wish I was back in IL. I have a great visible satellite photo of almost all the US on the afternoon of April 4, 1974...the superoutbreak of tornadoes. Unfortunately, not in my reach from here in AZ.
Congrats on the big bust! And thanks for your service always!

Thanks...This year's been insane...like a grizzly during the salmon run...Since October 1st, 2004 (beginning of the fed fiscal year) we've seized 8,976
POUNDs of marijuana and...hold on to your hats folks...184,218
POUNDs of cocaine - that's
92 TONS of the uncut variety!!! Street value blows right past the $6B mark for the mj and ck combined. And these figures are current as of June 7th...so this is going to rise during the summer months right before the hurricane season gets hot and heavy down south. Last year at this time, we only had about 82 tons combined mj and ck...still not too bad a catch.

zip ties and duct tape...aka "Carolina Sheet Metal" or in the boat community "Carolina gel-coat"

Glad to hear the war on drugs is still being fought! I just hope you someday win it! Working in an emergency room I have seen to many bad things when people abuse drugs. Feel proud in the fact that you are helping to save lives literally by doing the job that you do.
