If you could only listen to one CD the rest of your life, what would it be?
There are many that I love and listen to often, but I'd have to say Bon Jovi - Cross Road. There are many close behind.

Aw y'all are so kind.

For those of you around Houston, I was at the KSBJ Summerfest on June 3rd and 4th. Best experience i've had in years.

Unfortunately, I was first subjected to the Sebastian Bach version and will never listen to it again.
I'd have to say today, it'd be my Hyper Mix (all songs that make you want to get up and boogie, or at least smile). Includes
"She's a Beauty" - The Tubes
"Get What You Give" - New Radicals
"What I Like About You" - The Romantics
"867-5309" - Tommy Tutone
"Lovely Day" - Bill Withers
"Melt With You" - Modern English
...and the like.

Straight Ahead - Amy Grant
(And no, Swimdude...there's nothing wrong with Christian rock at all.

)

It would have to be something deep and meaningfull, musically brilliant, with a wide range of tempo, intense at times, soothing at others.
Tales From Topographic Oceans - Yes

it's hard to pick just one. But if I had to, right now, it would be
Norah Jones Come Away With Me.

This is an impossible task! I could easily narrow it down to 10 but 1 is very difficult.
I'd probably grab a CD from my favorite band of all time, but chances are none of you would have heard of them. They had semi-regional fame, a devoted, small following here in Cincinnati, under various band names. Never quite made the big time though. I'll leave it at that. Dee Bee might know who I'm referring to.
Next would be:
Nirvana Unplugged in New York (Live MTV performance)
http://www.nirvana-music.com/nirvana-ly ... ugged.html
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/de ... ct-details
And I'd like to sneak Nevermind's disc inside Unplugged. I know, that's cheating...

Too many to count , but...when I test a new system, I always put in MeatLoaf's
Bat Out of Hell first. If it can withstand the subtleties of that CD, it's a GOOD system.
