Pop-A-Lock

Two good numbers to know by heart -

1-87-POPALOCK or

1-888-POPOPEN

(whichever one is easiest for you)

Call them to be connected to the nearest Pop-A-Lock in your area. I've heard several stories about their locksmiths making it to the scene before or right as police and/or EMS arrive during emergency situations where a child is locked in a car.

I hate reading these stories year after year, especially in the summer, when kids die after being locked in a hot car for just a short amount of time.

Thanks for the number. Must say honestly though, if I ever locked my kid in the car on accident ... I'd probably break the window.. seriously. And I love to bop peeps in the head who leave their young kiddies in the car by themselves. I am not going to say I have NEVER left my kids in the car. But the ONLY time is while paying for gas, my 12 year old is in the car with them... and the weather is extreme. And even then when only when I can pull up to the door of the gas station where my eyes stay pegged on that car and reachable in less then 5 seconds.

Pop-A-Lock will also waive their fee if it's a child locked in the car. Great company and the owner who lives here in Lafayette is such a kind and giving person.

You might see another kid locked in a car though. I'd call them in a heartbeat if I saw that, followed by the police.
