It's been gorgeous here today. High in the 60's, sunny and a bit windy. Perfect day for my son's baseball tryouts (which were this afternoon).
I guess if we can't have snow this winter...bring on the pretty weather!

Well at least it's during the day not tomorrow but Monday for you Luis. We'll be dealing with rain tomorrow afternoon and Monday...drying out Tuesday and then a slight chance of a wintry mix of snow and rain next Friday.

Some fog this morning...in a place where that only happens about two mornings a year! Not surprised as my rainfall total was 1.73" for this storm. We are at 4.70" for the year and 6.88" in the last 90 days.
While most Arizona reservoirs are doing well...sad to see that Lake's Powell and Mead are SO slow to rebound. This can not be considered a droughtbuster season, but it will surely alleviate some of the stress on Phoenix.
I was just recently in San Diego and the amount of rain there this winter has been phenomenal too! Plush green everywhere!
And, as Dennis can tell you, all the rains just before springtime will make for a beautiful spring followed by a lot of drying brush in June. Seems as though nature solves one problem and creates another.
We should have a nice day near 70 here in the valley today.

Well today will be anything but sunny. Temps near 50 but widespread rains are forecast today, tonight and tomorrow as well. Then another shot of rain Tuesday afternoon mixing with snow on Tuesday night, then dry through Friday when the next shot of rain/snow comes in.

For the Omaha area, we had rainshowers start Saturday afternoon. Temperatures were mild, though, with highs in the mid 40s.
Sunday, appears to be wet, especially early, then tapering off this evening. Going to be in the 40s for today. (A BIG improvement over last Sunday when we had snow.)

COOL! The last time I was in San Diego, it was brown, brown, brown...still a beautiful place, but defintely lacking in color.
Do you have any pics you could post from San Diego? I'd love to see the greenery.
