They are saying they believe a lot of Saddams's top men may be hiding in Syria. And they believe Syria has chemical weapons. Will this be a big problem for us? Opinions and comments, pls.

I believe Syria is next on the list for 2 reasons.

#1 --- They are on the top of the list for Terrorist Nations.

#2 --- We are already there.

we have to keep the terrorists on the run

Good point, Chad. If we had the reason to do what we had to do in Iraq and the situation in Syria is just as bad, why should we really ignore the situation there...

Number one rule in Risk: don't overextend yourself. Even though Risk is a very much simplified version of the real world, this statement holds true nonetheless. We absolutely cannot go on an invasion rampage in the Middle East, especially against countries that are only a minor threat to local security, much less international and US security. Let's take care of Iraq and Afghanistan first.

nah. they're a small country...not powerful enough to protect their borders. yes there are sympathizers there, but there is no reaon to go to war with them. just get the people out.
