Time to show there is no "double standard" at NBC. You fired Arnett, what will you do about this woman???

A quote from Couric, while chatting about Saddam with NBC's Pentagon correspondent, Jim Miklaszewski, the multimillion-dollar morning host asked whether U.S. officials had been able to "confirm reports he was taken to Tikrit, and then Mosul, and then hopefully to Syria."

Yeah I agree J - but I don't she will be reprimanded cause she's a big star - Million dollar contract and her snafu will be overlooked.

What kind of comment was that? Saddam going to Syria would be the best thing, oh boy, yeah right?!

I lost all the respect I still had for Katie Couric because of her behavior during an interview with Jessica Lynch's father the morning after she was rescued. Katie all but laughed at him because he stammered....because he didn't smile enough to suit her.

I felt sorry for Mr Lynch just watching it. Didn't Katie realized what the man had just went through...I do.

Nine days of pure hell. I've spent a few minutes at the home of POW Ron Young Jr from here in Douglas County. I just stopped to let them know I cared, and was praying for their son, their brother. They were brave and upbeat, very friendly...but you could see the agony, the pain, the worry behind the smiles. Ron is 6'4" and 190 lbs...imagine if it were your little girl those Iraqi monsters were torturing

Both Jessica and Ron dads are better men than me. I'd be a basket case if it were my sister; my nephew or niece missing or POW; I don't even want to imagine the horror of what if it were my child

Katie Couric represents NBC well. Both are as cold as tiger sharks and have about the same compassion as the average grizzley bear :grrr: :grrr:

Ah, Katie Couric...I remember when she interviewed a female police officer, shot in the line of duty in hospital...she asked her if she supported gun control, and the officer answered that she supports armed citizens, even right-to-carry...

PC debutante that she is, Couric couldn't get out of there fast enough.
