I love taking an afternoon nap and if I weren't at work right now I would be napping right now.

I love them, but Im all cranky when I wake up. Not that I get to take them to often with my 3 year old racing around the house.

I can only manage it, once in a while, for the simple
reason, that, as soon as I close my eyes, I always
happen to remember something that I meant to do!
Bowoiiing - like a spring - back up, again!

Oh yeah, I'd love an afternoon nap on a regular basis. I drag thru my days. Need much more sleep than I get. Need 8+ and get between 5 and 6 hours nightly. My kids start school now at 7:20 so we're up very early. Ugh. Sometimes on weekends I'll catch an afternoon nap - heaven.
This reminds me of the time I was pregnant with my youngest but my first child (then 2) wouldn't nap. I was really dragging then. OB said to lie down 20 minutes a day, with my shoes off and elevated and that would be the next best thing to a nap. My 2 year old would stand next to me and ask, only about 20 times - Mommy, are you sleeping? Or are you awake? Why are your eyes closed? LOL That was a rough phase but I got thru it. She didn't understand why I couldn't play ALL day with her.

Hmm, well, I actually took one this morning. I was up all night boiling sap to make maple syrup. With our winter dragging on, it has made the syrup season drag on. But hey, we've made 50 gallons so far, so we will either save money or make it if we decide to sell some of it, so I ain't complainin'.

A nap? What's that? Maybe something from my early childhood when I wasn't busy doing stuff all the time.

I take an afternoon nap once in awhile. I get anywhere between 5 and 9 hours of sleep, go to bed quite late get up between mid and late morning or so. When it apparently catches up to me, I may fall asleep for two or so hours in the late afternoon and/or early evening.

I have to have my 15 minute power nap. I usually nod off right after lunch for 15 minutes and then I am ready to roll again.

I take quick naps ( 10 minutes or so) when I need an energy boost. They help me a lot!
