The makers of French's Mustard made the following recent statement:

"We at the French's Company wish to put an end to statements that our product is manufactured in France. There is no relationship, nor has there ever been a relationship, between our mustard and the country of France. Indeed, our mustard in manufactured in Rochester, NY."

They concluded their statement by saying, "The only thing we have in common is that we are both yellow".

Yeah Colemans is Real mustard! I like things hot, but they don't always like me  Speaking of the FRENCH :grrr: You guys see the latest statement from Chirac :?: He says the French are rejoicing that Saddam has fallen :o I can see him now packing his bags, ready to claim his portion of Iraq and set up shop. I sense a real evil here folks, along with Germany and Russia - never mind the N. Koreans!! If we allow them to move right back in and call the shots (+ the UN), maybe I'll just pack my bags and move to the mountains of W. Virginia and set up a camper in the woods. Move over Jessica! :grr:

Before all this, I favored "Grey Poupon" (or, as "firehead" says, "Are you putting 'gray poop' on your sandwich again?")...

However, I believe that, although once exclusively French-made, it is now being made right here in the good, old USA (like Kikkoman shoyu, or brewed soy sauce).

Correct me if I'm wrong...if so proven, I will gladly do my share to pare down the already 20% of the French economy lost by our taking of Iraq...LOL

(BTW, the "official" French field folding knives are "personal purchase", and are either Opinel or Lagiuole locking blades [this last still carries the "bee" figure of the ancient Merovingian dynasty, appropriated by Naploeon for the Grande Armee de L'Empereur]) -B.
