This evening, while I was at a fundraiser, my best friend Jessica was injured in an auto accident. She has been taken to the hospital where she is undergoing emergency surgery. I hope to go visit her folks in the morning instead of going to class. If you could please remember her in your prayers tonight, I would appreciate it.

Consider it done from me wx247! I hope she will be okay.

Best friends are just that because they can pick them up...lift them up...when they can not do it themselves.

My prayers are with both of you this warm evening in the desert southwest.

Jessica is now in ICU. She lost part of her ear in the accident and she also may have some internal bleeding...they are not 100% sure.

Prayers for you friend Garrett. Keep the faith - the worst is usually the first 24 to 48 hours. We are here for you.

Thanks. It is so hard to not be able to see her. She was in surgery this morning. I think that there is more wrong than just what I posted, but her parents didn't want to talk about it so I didn't push them. I know that she is conscious.

We are practically like brother and sister. It is extra terrible because Darla and I are both going out of town this weekend. I feel bad because I feel like I need to be there for her.

I am sorry for burdening you all. Sorry... I just got to typing.

Garrett - I'm sorry to hear about your friend. I guess it's good news that she's conscious. I hope that the surgery today took care of everything. You are both certainly in my prayers!
