I've recieved wonderful news about Jessica Lynch..

About an hour ago, I recieved an email from a friend of Jessica's mom...she'd been in contact with family members over in Germany.

Jessica is recovering from her injuries, even quicker than doctors predicted. The surgery on her back was successful and Jessica has regained the sensation in her legs and feet. Even better, she was able to stand earlier today with assistance, and sit in a chair for a few minutes. She's also being allowed solid food :)

The doctor says if Jessica continues to improve, she may be well (strong) enough to fly back to the U.S. either this upcoming weekend or Monday....likely for treatment and rehab at Walter Reed Medical Center in Washington D.C.

That's even more reason to sign the "Get Well Jessica" thread, located as a sticky in the USA Weather forum; or visit my site and post get well wishes in the guestbook or message board. I honestly prefer any praise in the guestbook be given to Jessica and her family-- I just feel blessed to be able to do a little something that makes her feel better--the only reason I created the website.

**BTW - A couple of my family members have experienced difficulty accessing my website today (getting an "unavailable" message). I'm not sure if it's due to increased traffic or a WebTV glitch (I've had no problems accessing the site).

For those wishing to post a get well message to Jessica, here's the direct link to the message board:

God Bless,
Perry
