For those of you who didn't know, Baghdad no longer has electricity.

Hello southerngale, I was thinking about posting this occurrence as well.
Also, the coalition forces (Americans and British forces) are within miles of downtown Baghdad.

What did they do, get a large pair of scissors and cut the main line of power to Baghdad?

It seems we are not the ones who cut the power, according to Rumsfeld. We never hit nor targeted their power grid.

That's right, southerngale, it is news. I appreciate you posting the thread.
At first there were reports that the coalition forces turned the lights on in Baghdad, about an hour later it was reported that it was not "us."

The iraqies cutted the power to then blame the cut to the coalition.

Just heard that on my local news... They also said they have plans to blow up civilian towns and blame those on the coalition forces as well

In 1988 Saddam cut power right beofre he used his chemical weapons. But I have not heard one official shed any light on it yet either. Hopefully they are informing our troops of this same scenario.

Yes, Chad, Iraqis changed their clocks... it was only last night they have done so. Fox News mentioned this today.
